We have worked with several reputable fashion houses, companies as well as other ventures in the fashion business such as buying, merchandizing, pattern design and bespoke tailoring.
HT has clothed some very high-profile personalities both home and abroad, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo; former President John Mahama; late Presidents Amissah Arthur and JJ Rawlings; former Speaker Rt. Hon. Prof. Mike Oquaye; current Speaker Rt. Hon. How We Started
Mahama Yussif began developing Harmony Trends while still at Afric Xpress. During one fifteen-day leave, he decided to utilize the time to scout for clients for the two tailors who had been working with him at the time, essentially playing a marketing role.
To his amazement, the efforts and time invested in the fifteen-day period produced overwhelming and incredibly positive results which revealed the invaluable potential in the fashion business. He consequently left his job and started laying down the foundation, developing the framework and assembling the necessary machinery and expertise to begin operations at what is now the Spintex branch of Harmony Trends. With his apt and dedicated employees – five at the time – he began building the company up from one stage to the other, drawing on his business development background to fast-track progress, all while keeping the goal of serving high quality and matchless apparels to clients.

Our CEO
Mahama Yussif, almost certainly Ghana’s finest bespoke tailor, is the Proprietor and Managing Director of Harmony Trends. He has over a decade’s experience in tailoring and design concept development and he hatched the “Harmony Concepts” to deliver contemporary styles with uncompromising levels of craftsmanship and personal service.
Yussif grew up in Tamale, Northern Region and attended the Navrongo Senior High School in the Upper East Region. He proceeded to the Tamale Polytechnic (now, Tamale Technical University), where he read Agricultural Engineering. All along, he was also nurturing his passion for tailoring and design concept development. Yussif further read International Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
As a teenager, he designed clothes for family and friends for free and picked up inspiration from high-end fashion brands and designers. All these developed in him true taste, hunger and a challenge to ultimately build Africa’s number one clothing line.
Before Harmony Trends, Yussif had worked with Foraco Africa, then Olam International as Stock Manager, Instant Money Transfer as Program Manager and Afric Xpress as Business Development Manager. He stepped aside from the engineering and logistics space to fully take on the world with his endless creativity and impeccable skills in fashion, hence, the birth of Harmony Trends.
